Moon in Ink from a Newbie

This was an experiment in seeing if I could break down Naoko's painting process... I had just started to think that my watercolours were stagnating, so I wanted to experiment with some new technique and start to incorporate them within my own. For curious parties, this is what it looks like without PS effects.

Sometimes you just really need to draw old school-style Sailor Moon with white odango and a cape. After a long day of painting at work, this felt gooood. :)
